Have you ever chosen to stand up for what you felt was right, even if others didn’t agree with you? Have you ever said something hurtful and later wished you didn’t? Have you ever witnessed something you knew was wrong, and didn’t know what to do?

No matter how insignificant it may seem, we are all faced with tough choices about how we treat each other and how we ought to. We are faced with how we might “choose to participate” every day.

Choosing to Participate offers a new way to think about the choices you make every day. You’ve got a choice:

• To help someone you don’t know
• To stand up for someone who is being harassed
• To unite with others to fight discrimination
• To battle adversity and speak out for others
